July 22nd 2016 our 'Balmoral' day!  

Morning cruise Menai Bridge

to Llandudno to Menai Bridge.

Just 3 hours but what an experience! 







The picture of St Tudno's chuch and summit complex on the Great Orme Llandudno is from Balmoral as we were on our way but here's a little story from a photographer's view point..... On the day before we had been lucky enough to photograph Balmoral from this very spot!! Well after all you don't get the luxury of a photo being taken of your ship as you cruise!!
This therefore is the closest you will get to a picture being taken of you on a white knuckle ride..... the white funnel version!!! 

MV Balmoral is a classic steamer built in 1949

and known for being the most widely travelled coastal excursion ship and the last of its type.






2016 is only the second year back in commercial service

after quite a turbulent economic time so if you have the opportunity to go on board her for a little cruise you must take it.
